    thanks,home depot tried to sell me 3 small screen covers at $15 a pack. Spent the same on the tape and have enough left over for 50 more holes.

    mesh tape is made for hot mixes(plaster)or morter, might work but moisture works from bolth sides of a wall,use paper tape if using joint compound will last longer……good post tho.

    They also sell mesh wire that’s much more durable made for this. It works great.
