Beware of pressure treated lumber marked “ÄCQ” on the tag. It is HIGHLY CORROSIVE to metal fasteners. Galvanized or stainless nails MUST be used. Nothing less.
Beware of pressure treated lumber which is marked as “ACQ” treated on the tag . It is highly CORROSIVE to metal fasteners! You Must use at minimum Good quality galvanized or stainless nails.
A lot of folks do not realise that the energy of the sun does the damage..the water gets in after the sun has broken the integrity of the timber..this is a tip top video..thanks for posting.

i put about a 1/2″ crown in the center of my deck so that the water runs off both ways and doesnt settle. great advice on the grain of the wood
